Meadowvale Warehouse Mezzanine
Structural mezzanine design and permit for a 4,500 sq ft steel mezzanine level in a logistics warehouse.
Overview
Meadowvale Logistics needed to double their pick-face capacity without pausing operations. We designed a freestanding steel mezzanine with integrated conveyor openings, coordinated the building permit with the City of Mississauga, and provided site inspection letters for occupancy.
Challenges
Existing anchor bolt patterns in the slab were inconsistent, and the live load requirement from the racking system exceeded standard mezzanine tables.
Our Solution
Designed a custom base plate arrangement to work with the existing slab and produced a racking engineering letter that satisfied the insurer's requirements.
